The mission of Northwest Children’s Theater and School is to educate, entertain and enrich the lives of young audiences. We provide a year-round theater school, quality theater productions, and outreach programs in local schools and partner organizations. Our classes and productions feature top Northwest professionals and area young people. We strive for the highest standards of artistry and professionalism both on and off the stage. This results in a company and theatrical experience unique to the Pacific Northwest. We respect children of all races, religions, and backgrounds as well as the cultural diversity of the Pacific Northwest and the ideals and lifestyles of the people who live here.

Students will learn how to take their favorite myths, fables, or books and transform them into live theater. This class will explore the fundamentals of theater: from projection and stage presence, to expression and character development while exploring their favorite characters and stories.
